Colorado Ski Resort Vacation
Any Colorado ski resort vacation is going to be awesome. Even if you happen to get hurt so long as you have medical insurance it will be a memorable experience that you’ll probably tell stories about to your children.
I remember my aunt and her family went down to Steamboat Springs. It was three years ago now. She got into a terrible accident because of a wayward snowboarder. He launched off of a little hill I think on the moguls and was out of control going too fast flying through the air.
She happened to be in his path as he was coming down through the air and that snowboard caught her and knocked her unconscious also cutting her because the edge caught her as well.
Obviously this was a very unfortunate circumstance and caused her to have to spend some hospital time and interrupted the family vacation. It was also very scary because those kinds of things and those kinds of speeds are incredibly dangerous and people do die.
Fortunately she had medical insurance that covered all of her injuries and she was totally fine. After about 10 days she was fairly healed up and I don’t even see a scar anymore.
But if she hadn’t had medical insurance it would’ve been a huge problem. And also there were some other bills she had to cover out of pocket which was made easier because the of fact that her family does pre-well financially. But sometimes you can be a struggling snowboarder maybe a little bit like me and you need to make some extra money fast. You probably don’t want to work too hard to get it and so that’s what the next post is going to talk about.
